Villa Via Bolgherese - Wine
Villa Via Bolgherese - olive oil

The enogastronomic sector is an important resource for this area. The manufacturing of prestigious wine has made the local cellars world famous.
There is a marvellous landscape surrounding the villa, you can admire the famous estates, with their splendid grapevines and visit the numerous wine cellars, ranging from world renown, high tech ones to the little, family run ones, where you can still enjoy the original flavor of the area.

Bolgheri isn´t just famous for wine, but also for olive oil, moving towards Bibbona, you can visit a fascinating and technologically advanced oil mill.

In September and October the entire landscape comes to life in a season of fragrances, the smell of ripe grapes fills the air and you can smell the essence of the extra virgin pulp from the wonderful olives.

Tuscan cuisine

The area offers several opportunities to enjoy its great cuisine, with its "0 kilometer food-concept": everything is freshly produced and sold locally.
Local fishers provide fish for so many seafood recipes: tradition and the individual interpretation of the chefs blend into dishes that are unique and rich in history. Including octopus and stockfish "alla piombinese", with simple but genuine ingredients. The tonno briao (drunk tuna) is a household name in Bolgheri.
The gastronomy of the Costa degli Etruschi has more to offer than just seafood, there are delicious desserts, such as the schiacciata "campigliese", which is obviously best enjoyed in Campiglia Marittima.
